Non-bank lender Assetline Capital has appointed Celia Li as a business development manager (BDM) for NSW.

Li, who took on the new role in March, has experience working as a BDM and RSM across the lending space, having worked at non-bank lender Prime Capital, as a relationship manager at the Commonwealth Bank of Australia and as a business banker with National Australia Bank.

According to Assetline Capital, Li is specialising in the Chinese-speaking broker community in metro and non-metro locations throughout NSW and providing support in identifying new opportunities with brokers and aggregators.

Royden D’Vaz, head of sales and distribution, commented on the appointment: “We are thrilled to welcome Celia Li to our team.

“Her impressive background and dedication to delivering the best outcomes for brokers make her a valuable asset as we continue to expand our reach and serve the industry with fast and flexible lending solutions.”

Li commented: “I’m delighted to join Assetline Capital. They have seen substantial growth in recent years and I’m excited to play a part in their ongoing success.

“I’m looking forward to getting on the road, meeting with brokers and working with them on delivering some great deals for their clients.”

The lender has been rapidly growing its team and product line recently, having appointed former broker Laura Stanley as BDM in NSW earlier this year and launching an Alt Doc Construction product.

Commenting on Assetline Capital’s growth, D’Vaz said: “We have seen tremendous growth in the last year from product launches like the Clinch Bridging Loan and Alt Doc Construction to growing our sales team in Queensland, Western Australia and South Australia, so it’s essential that we have an experienced and talented sales team to cater to our full broker network.

“Li’s commitment to delivering outstanding service and tailored financial solutions aligns perfectly with Assetline Capital’s mission to provide unparalleled support to brokers.”
